Botulinum toxin can be an effective treatment option for people with excessive sweating, particularly when other treatments haven’t been effective.
We inject tiny amounts of botulinum toxin into the affected areas, typically the underarms, hands, or feet.
The toxin works by blocking the nerve signals that stimulate the sweat glands, essentially turning down their activity and reducing sweat production.

The injections are usually done in a clinic setting and are relatively quick, taking around 20 minutes.
